Hi! As Dan always says, the jobs we post here can change so quickly. These are just a few examples of what is available. In the meantime, here is a sampling of what we currently have:
Daegu City: Starting ASAP, teaching elementary/middle school (2:40 - 9:30, Monday to Friday). This school is about 5-10 minutes by car from downtown. Salary: 2.1-2.3 million won/month.
Yongin City: Starting ASAP, teaching kindergarten/elementary (9:30-6:30, Monday to Friday). This school is looking for 2 teachers (total # of foreign teachers: 8). Couples are welcome to apply!! Salary: 2.1-2.2 million won/month.
Seoul (Gangnam area): Starting Feb. 19/09, teaching kindergarten/elementary/middle school (either 9:40-5:20 or 2:30-8:30, Monday to Friday). Teacher will have to share an apartment with another teacher. Salary: 2.0-2.3 million won/month.
Gwangju City: Starting December 15th, teaching kindergarten/elementary (9:00-5:00 or 11:00-7:30). Open to couples. Salary: 2.1-2.2
Hanam City: Starting early January, 2009, teaching kindergarten and elementary (10:00-6:00). This school is looking for someone under 35 to teach. Salary: 2.3-2.5 million won/month.
Winter Camps! This is an opportunity pretty much only open to teachers currently in Korea, as airfare is not included. Dates range from December 29/08 to February 3rd. Teaching hours are 9:20 - 16:25, Monday to Saturday. Salary: 2.5 million won (lunches and accommodations are included).
Dates and locations include:
- Seoul and Kyoung Gi Area Camp: Dec 26- Jan 22nd (for a month)
- Incheon area: Jan 2nd- Jan 31st
- JinJu : Dec 29th- Jan 24th
- Daegu area Camp: Jan 5th- Feb 3rd
