Hi, I'm an English literature student and was wondering if there are opportunities to incorporate this into any potential teaching job after i graduate?

You qualify to teach ESL in Korea, if you have:

1) a 3 or 4yr degree in any major, from an accredited university, which is in a native English speaking country.

2) A Valid passport from a native English speaking country - USA, Canada, NZ, Australia, South Africa, UK and Ireland are the qualifying countries.

3) You must also have a criminal record check with no serious offences, and you must pass a physical, including a drug test, once you arrive in Korea.

If your major is literature, it is related, so it will help you secure your job, over less qualified applicants. At some schools, this degree will also earn you a slightly higher salary.

I hope this helps.
